Dr. Santos was awarded $150k as part of a one-year grant to United Technologies Research Center from the Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing Institute. The project is titled, “Precise Packing with Intelligence.” This award enables collaboration with research teams at United Technologies Research Center and RE2 Robotics. The goal is to develop a hybrid workcell for humans and robots to collaborate on inspection and packaging tasks.
